Please note this is not a formal reporting platform. This platform is a disclosure tool that you can use to disclose unacceptable behaviour. If you leave a contact email address, you will receive contact from the University to offer support.

Please note that completing the form within the Report & Support site will not automatically start a formal disciplinary process.

We want all students at the University of Leicester to experience an environment that is stimulating, enjoyable and safe. However, during your time with us, you may witness or experience something that concerns or distresses you and you might want the University to know about it.

You should not have to accept any behaviour that you’re not comfortable with. You can let us know about something that has happened/is happening to you or to someone else.

There are 15 short, multiple choice questions on this disclosure system. Some of these questions relate to the incident being disclosed, some are about the person who has been subjected to the unacceptable behaviour, and some will ask about your preferences around remaining anonymous or leaving contact details.

You are able to let us know about the incident(s) in one of 2 ways, either anonymously or by leaving your contact details. You will be asked for your choice at the end of the process.

If you choose to disclose anonymously we will not be able to offer direct support or begin any formal processes.

If you let us know about something and leave your contact details, depending on whether you are a student, staff or visitor at the University of Leicester, you may be contacted by a member of the team from Student Support Services and/or a Dignity and Respect Contact (EDI Team) to discuss your options for further support.

For more information you can read our privacy policy.

Please note that you can leave the form at any point.

You can ask any general questions about the form by emailing standingtogether@le.ac.uk or calling 0116 223 1185 Monday-Friday 9am-5pm.

We will only use the information from your responses to connect you with University Support staff. If you have left your contact details, they will get back to you within 2 working days. Please review the University’s Bank Holidays and Closure Days
